'Amazing.' Orange nail salon fully reopens 8 months after devastating fire

Less than one year after a devastating fire destroyed their business, Black Swan Nails & Spa is back and better than ever.
The popular nail salon in Orange has reopened in its original location on Boston Post Road.
"It was horrible when I heard that they burned down and they had to move locations," says longtime customer Alexis McAuley. "Seeing it now rebuilt is just amazing."
Black Swan Nails & Spa was partially open in a temporary location during the rebuild, thanks to the town.
"Lucky," says co-owner Bella Ding. "We are very lucky."
Customers say they are amazed and thankful for the quick turnaround.
"Sometimes it takes a couple steps backwards to make you go forward," says Nicole Mattox, of West Haven. "I think this is a prime example of how you just make lemonade out of lemons."
Owners say the cause of the fire was electrical.
