Marvin Moralez, 21, pleaded guilty Tuesday to taking part in the death of Daniel Garcia-Carbajal in Freeport's Cow Meadow Park in March 2021.
In addition to the death, Moralez faces attempted murder charges for pointing a loaded gun at a Nassau detective later that same month.
He is expected to be sentenced to 23 years to life in prison on March 16.
