Actor Alec Baldwin is heading to court over a spat involving a parking spot.

The Massapequa native filed a defamation lawsuit Friday against a man who claims Baldwin hit him in the face over a New York City parking space.

Baldwin says the man made up a fake story about a violent attack in an attempt to extort money from the actor.

The lawsuit claims hospital records and surveillance video dispute the claims.

Baldwin pleaded guilty to harassment in January and agreed to take an anger management class.

The other driver sued Baldwin, claiming the alleged assault was "physically painful and psychologically traumatic."
