AAA: Nearly 71 million travelers to hit the roads for the Fourth of July week
If you plan on starting the holiday weekend early, you will not be alone on the roads.
AAA predicts 70.9 million travelers will be on the roads driving 50 or more miles for the Fourth of July week.
For the first time, AAA looked at the entire July 4th week, plus the Saturday before and the Sunday after the holiday.
AAA says 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. was the worst time to travel on Wednesday. The best time was before noon.
As for the holiday, AAA says the worst time to hit the road is Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. You will also see less traffic before noon.
