Police: 4 injured in Port Jefferson Station firework accident

Suffolk police say the incident took place in front of a home on Foxrun Court. All four victims were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.

Authorities say a firework accident Thursday night in Port Jefferson Station injured four people, including an 8-year-old girl.
Suffolk police say the incident took place in front of a home on Foxrun Court. All four victims were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
Police have identified two of the victims as 38-year-old Patrice Ambroise and 30-year-old Kieran Doyle.
Authorities say Ambroise is being treated for burns and a serious leg injury. Doyle is being treated for burns and a severed finger.
The 8-year-old girl and a 30-year-old woman were also treated for minor injuries.
