News 12 is told 83-year-old John Woods was allegedly operating a walk-up drug service at his home on Old Quogue Road in Riverside.

Police say they responded after numerous complaints from the community.

Woods was arrested on Friday.

Multiple agencies were involved in the arrest, including the Suffolk County East End’s Drug Task Force and Southampton Police Department, which say they executed a search warrant at Wood's home.

“We just bought a house here. I have children, I have a grandchild, we just want to be safe," said Shahlise Cherry, of Riverside.

Woods is charged with multiple felonies, including criminal possession of a controlled substance.
