6-year-old cancer survivor Nikolina Johannessen holds charity garage sale to raise money for toys for other cancer victims
A 6-year-old cancer survivor today held a one-of-a-kind event to help other children battling the disease. Nikolina Johannessen and her family held a charity garage sale at Lake Grove Village Hall.

A 6-year-old cancer survivor today held a one-of-a-kind event to help other children battling the disease.
Nikolina Johannessen and her family held a charity garage sale at Lake Grove Village Hall.
The event, which they dubbed "Nikolina's Attic," was Nikolina's idea. She wanted to sell her toys in order to raise money to buy new toys for children who are in the hospital battling cancer.
All the money raised will be used to buy toys for patients of Stony Brook University Medical Center's Child Life Program. The family says they can't wait to go shopping for the children.
