Two people were hurt by an SUV driver reversing their vehicle Saturday afternoon in Valley Stream, according to police.
Authorities say a 39-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were walking near Target on West Sunrise Highway when the driver struck them.
The 28-year-old driver then hit the barriers in front of the store, causing minimal damage.
The two victims were hospitalized with minor injuries.
