FBI agents spotted during probe into Dutchess County ‘wellness spa’

News 12 has confirmed that a federal investigation into a wellness spa in Dutchess County is underway.
FBI agents were spotted on Tuesday at the Physical Wellness Spa on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. Cellphone video of the activity was given to News 12 showing uniformed agents going in and out of the location.
An FBI spokesperson says they were there as part of a multiagency, ongoing probe but wouldn’t provide any additional information.
"FBI personnel were on scene with our partners from numerous federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies conducting court authorized activity in connection with an ongoing federal investigation. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, we are not able to provide any additional details at this time," says the spokesperson.
The business was the site of police activity last year when an employee was hurt during an armed robbery attempt.
News 12 called the spa for information, but the spa hung up the phone.
