Police: Suspect wanted for home burglary in North New Hyde Park

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the man responsible for burglarizing a home Tuesday in North New Hyde Park.

Authorities say the suspect entered the home on Kings Lane through an unlocked front window at 3:32 a.m.

People were inside the residence at the time of the incident, according to police.

The suspect took a cellphone and wallet before leaving the scene in an unknown direction.

No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
