The 27th annual "Order Sons of Italy Columbus Lodge" Italian feast kicked off in North Massapequa Sunday.

The event coincided with the start of Italian Heritage Month.

More than 10,000 people were expected at the feast that featured Italian food, games and activities for the family and music.

News 12's Antoinette Biordi spoke to revelers at the event.
