A truck crashed into the front of a business in Oakdale on Monday morning.

The driver of the 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck, a 76-year-old East Patchogue woman, suffered a medical emergency while traveling westbound on Montauk Highway around 10 a.m., officials say.

Suffolk police tell News 12, a 2017 Mitsubishi sedan was heading eastbound when the Chevrolet side-swiped its driver’s side before losing its front wheel and careening into Action Sports located at 1384 Montauk Highway.

The West Sayville Fire Department responded to remove the door from the Mitsubishi after that driver, a 76-year-old Bayport woman, was pinned inside.

Firefighters also worked to remove the vehicle from the building.

Both drivers were transported to local hospitals via Community Ambulance Company for treatment of minor injuries, police say.

There were no other injuries reported.
