A Wyandanch man has been sentenced, after pleading guilty to raping a woman inside her home.

Joseph Johnson will serve 18 years in prison and have to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutors say the 33-year-old attacked the woman in September 2020.

They say he came back two days later and was seen trying to disable surveillance cameras that were installed by the victim.

Police arrested Jonson after that incident.
