A Brentwood man has been formally charged for allegedly murdering his wife and child
Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney says Zanoor Jaffari is accused of stabbing Misbah Batool and their 2-year-old daughter to death in July.
Jaffari is facing two counts of first- and second-degree murder charges.
He is due back in court in October and faces 25 years to life in prison if he is found guilty.
