According to police, two people walked into Macy’s and started taking and concealing several items.
The pair tried to leave and two loss prevention employees approached them, officials say.
A struggle ensued and the woman started pushing and kicking the security officer.
Both suspects ran off toward the blue parking garage.
As News 12 has reported, there have been several incidents at the mall in recent months.
Earlier this week, a woman was robbed in the parking lot across the street.
