Officials say two East Islip men are back on dry land after being rescued from the waters off Patchogue.
Police say just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Davis Park ferry captain spotted an overturned 16-foot catamaran, but the men weren't in sight. The captain radioed for help.

Marine Bureau officers say the pair was found drifting with life jackets on about two miles from the sailboat.
Police said the men were tired, but not hurt.
