Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at MacArthur Airport on Sunday night.

The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. when a 2022 Ford pickup truck and a 2005 Toyota pickup collided on Smithtown Avenue in Ronkonkoma.

Suffolk police tell News 12 both vehicles were travelling northbound in the right and left lanes respectively.

The collision caused the Toyota to flip over and crash through an airport fence, according to fire officials.

The 62-year-old driver of that truck was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police say.

While the 22-year-old driver of the Ford was not hurt.

No charges have been filed against either driver at this time.
