Police say one man was seriously
hurt after a fire ripped through a home in Patchogue.
Fire officials say the blaze
broke out in the basement of a home on Evans Street just before 8:30 a.m.
According
to officials, a 30-year-old man inside suffered severe burns and smoke
inhalations.

12 has been told the man was the only person in the house.
News 12 was told one dog was
found dead and two others are missing.
