A Yonkers man commemorated Father’s Day with his foster son.
Gary Neville and his son Gary Neville II celebrated on the front steps of their home with Sonny Tilman, a 13-year-old from Children’s Village foster program who came to live with the family four months ago.
If things go as planned, Neville says he will become a permanent parent for Tilman.
"Young people in particular are struggling across the board, and the ability to help someone have a good life, is tantamount to the most important thing I could think of,” said Neville.
News 12’s Carol Wilkinson will have more on this story later tonight.
