A Wyandanch man has been charged with gang assault in connection with a shooting involving a rapper in front of a Manhattan restaurant.
The NYPD says Zachary Bunce, rapper Tekashi69, and a group of others tried to enter the restaurant “Philiippe” Friday night, but they were turned away.
They say Bunce and another man returned and hit an armed private security guard with a chair.
The guard then allegedly fired his gun, shooting one suspect.
Bunce was not injured.
Tekashi69, also known as 6ix9ine, had been in court hours before the fracas. He received four years’ probation on charges of using a child in a sexual performance.
