World War II veteran from Southampton turns 100

Stanley Dykovitz, a Navy veteran, turns 100 years old today. He was drafted by the U.S. Army in 1942 at 20 years old.

A World War II veteran on the East End is celebrating a big birthday milestone.
Stanley Dykovitz, a Navy veteran, turns 100 years old today. He was drafted by the U.S. Army in 1942 at 20 years old.
He served three years with the Navy in World War II as part of the Seabees.
He now resides in Southampton, one of few remaining veterans of that era in that area.
