News 12 The Bronx hit the streets on Good Riddance Day to ask residents how they want to start anew on Jan. 1.
Good Riddance Day is a yearly tradition where people write down what they want to get rid of in their lives in the upcoming year. The next step is to head to Times Square to shred up their papers and throw them up like confetti.
While many Bronx residents won't be heading to Manhattan on New Year's Eve, they say they still want a fresh start in 2015.
Responses from residents include wishes to stop smoking cigarettes, get in shape, get rid of negative thoughts and find better jobs.
