A Long Island woman, who is less than four feet tall, says she is being discriminated against because of her size. Barbara Echeverria, 57, is suing two senior housing complexes in Suffolk. She claims the Babylon Park Center in Deer Park and Kristie Manor in Amityville would not let her make basic changes to the apartments that she needs in order to survive. The woman also says she was told she could not keep her dog, which she claims she needs for her handicap.
