(AP) - A woman in her 50s is New York City's secondconfirmed death linked to swine flu.
A spokeswoman for the city's Department of Health and MentalHygiene says that the woman died over the weekend and hadunderlying health conditions.
Spokeswoman Jessica Scaperotti says people with chronic healthconditions such as diabetes and compromised immune systems shouldseek medical advice.
She says there are 280 confirmed cases of swine flu in the city. Assistant public school principal Mitchell Wiener became thecity's first death from the virus last week.
The city's first outbreak of swine flu occurred about a monthago, when more than 1,000 teenagers at a Catholic high school beganfalling ill following the return of several students from vacationsin Mexico, the epicenter of the outbreak.
