Son charged with murder after father found stabbed to death in Mastic

A Lake Ronkonkoma man is under arrest after Suffolk County police say he killed his father in Mastic on Labor Day.
Police say Edward Brown called 911 to report that he had been stabbed inside his apartment at 73 Mastic Blvd., Apt. C.
Police and personnel from the Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company responded and attempted life-saving measures, but Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
A short time later, police arrested Brown's son, 33-year-old Sage Arias-Brown of Lake Ronkonkoma, and charged him with murder.
Arias-Brown is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
