A woman died after being hit by a car Saturday night on Route 110 in East Farmingdale.
Police say she was crossing westbound at the intersection of Conklin Street when a Hyundai Sonata struck her around 8:30 p.m.
She was taken to Nassau University Hospital in East Meadow and pronounced dead.
The 30-year-old driver was uninjured, according to authorities.
Police say the woman’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
