Man accused of stabbing person after argument in Great Neck

A Great Neck man was arrested Friday for stabbing another man in the neck multiple times, according to police.
Investigators say the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at a residence on Florence Avenue. Eric Vasquez had gotten into a verbal argument with another man escalating to him allegedly stabbing the man in the neck multiple times with a foldable knife.
The 40-year-old victim was able to call 911 and a short time later Vasquez was arrested without incident.
Vasquez, 34, is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He will be arraigned on Saturday at the First District Court in Hempstead.
