At least 15 bicycles stolen from Commack shop

Police are looking for a group of people who they say stole multiple bicycles from a Commack shop.
Detectives say it happened on Aug. 3 around 1 a.m. during a storm.
The store manager of Bike Cave told News 12 the thieves pulled up in a black pickup truck with no plates.
They cut the lock to a shed in the back where the business stores customers’ bikes were waiting to be repaired.
Police say 15 bikes were stolen. The manager says they took at least 22.
One customer who brought his bike in for repairs Saturday says he’s glad he didn’t bring it in sooner.
“[It’s concerning] since I just dropped mine off here, but they probably won't come back and hit it again,” said customer Steve Cotes, of Commack. “To break into a bike shop and steal 20 something bikes is hard for almost any area. So I wouldn't say that this area is any more prone to that than some place else.”
The manager says they are working with the insurance company to reimburse customers.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Suffolk police.
