A woman helped save her father's life by donating her kidney.
Stephanie Trotti successfully donated her kidney to her father, Matthew Carlson, a little over two weeks ago.
"It's a miracle in itself that my father raised me, and I could give back," Trotti says.
Doctors say Carlson, of Holbrook, has polycystic kidney disease and he would have died without the transplant.
Carlson is urging people to think about donating to save people like him.
"It's such an important facet to be able to donate an organ or tissue to somebody....to save their life," Carlson says.
