Whipping winds tore through Long Island's South Shore during Thursday's major snowstorm.
The partially frozen over Great South Bay looked like a tundra in Babylon, as winds blew snow across its icy surface.
News 12's Andrew Ehinger spoke with some residents who said they actually didn't mind the cold.
Still, residents are advised to use caution while driving on slick roads or facing the biting winds.
