Students at Westhampton Beach Middle School showed their support for Ukrainian troops.

They put together 1,000 packages filled with items ranging from gum to coffee to Rice Krispy treats and ponchos.

They also included hand written notes hoping to put a smile on the soldiers' faces.

The troops are expected to get the care packages by early next week.
