PBA supports Westchester County officer charged with DWI at scene of motorcycle crash that killed his brother in Lake George

Authorities say 33-year-old Michael Kilduff, who is a Westchester County police officer, was riding separately with his brother and a group of others Sunday night on state Route 9 in the town of Lake George when a crash occurred.

The Westchester County Police Benevolent Association held a press conference on Tuesday to show support for a fellow officer who was charged with DWI.

Michael Kilduff was at the scene of his brother's fatal motorcycle crash when he was arrested.

Authorities say 33-year-old Michael Kilduff, who is a Westchester County police officer, was riding separately with his brother and a group of others Sunday night on state Route 9 in the town of Lake George when a crash occurred.

Officials say Michael Kilduff, of Pawling, appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested on DWI charges.

Authorities say his brother, 31-year-old Brian Kilduff, of Brewster, died at the scene.

Investigators have not said what caused the crash or who may be responsible.

PBA officials said that they support Kilduff and his family during this tragic time.
