It?s a small consolation to the sky high gas prices, but one gas station owner in West Babylon gave back to his customers Wednesday with cheap prices.
Drivers lined up early along Sunrise Highway to fill up their tanks at Mike?s Super Citgo. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers could get a gallon of gas for $2.27.
Owner Mike Abizeid said he lowers the price to give back to the community. Abizeid said his customers support him all year long, the least he could do is lower the price for a few hours for them.
