Frigid temperatures are sticking around on Long Island in the wake of the snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow on much of the area.

News 12 Long Island meteorologists say total snow amounts reached between 10 to 15 inches in most parts of Nassau and Suffolk counties.

High temperatures today will reach 21 degrees with wind gusts up to 20 mph.

Temperatures aren't expected to climb much higher than 20 degrees over the next few days.

Looking toward the weekend, the forecast calls for a high of 32 degrees on Saturday with another possibility of snow showers.
