A ninth person has been arrested in connection to the missing Patchogue teen who was found on a boat in Islip, according to News 12 sources.
DeShaun McClean, 42, is accused of having sexual contact with the 14-year-old on Jan. 9 and Jan. 23. These incidents allegedly happened at a children’s mental health facility she was staying at in Suffolk County after she was found.
McClean is an employee at the facility. He was arraigned on two counts of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, according to court documents.
Court documents also revealed that McClean was arrested after a review of surveillance video of the incident.
McClean pleaded not guilty, according to court documents.
News 12 reached out to McClean’s attorney but has not heard back.
