Presidents' Day is expected to be pleasant and sunny, but Tuesday is looking to be a washout on Long Island.
Today will see highs in the 50s.
News 12 meteorologists say that Tuesday will be cloudy with rain showers, starting off light in the morning before becoming steady for the afternoon and evening.
Highs will be in the mid-50s. Wind gusts can reach up to 40 mph during the evening.
Wednesday is expected to have highs in the mid-60s before temperatures drop back down to the upper-30s on Thursday.
TODAY- PRESIDENTS' DAY:  Mostly sunny daytime becoming cloudy in the evening with highs near 46. Lows near 36.
TUESDAY WEATHER TO WATCH: Mostly cloudy, breezy with some rain showers, during the afternoon. Highs up to 52. Lows near 45.
WEDNESDAY: Mild midweek day under mostly cloudy skies. Highs near 58! Lows crash to 28.
THURSDAY WEATHER TO WATCH: Cold temperatures swing again with a snow then rain. Timing details, impacts still TBD. More to come in the next couple days. Highs around 39. Lows near 33.
FRIDAY WEATHER TO WATCH: Mixed showers continue. The day ends on a drier note. More details to come. Highs near 44. Lows near 25.
