WEATHER TO WATCH: Expect scattered showers overnight with the chance for scattered showers and storms on Friday. Best chance looks to be late morning into early afternoon. Storms could bring locally heavy rain with some minor street flooding.
RIP CURRENTS: Windy with rough conditions on the water tomorrow. There's a high risk of rip currents
TROPICS: Tropical Storm Franklin will pass east of Long Island early next week bringing rough rip currents, waves, and possibly some beach erosion on the South Shore of Eastern Suffolk.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy and breezy with scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Lows near 67 with south winds 10 to 20 mph. Sunrise: 6:12
