Snow showers are expected throughout the day across Long Island.
News 12 meteorologists say snow totals will reach 1 to 4 inches by this evening, with heavier amounts expected in eastern Suffolk County.
Some spots in central Suffolk County may see slightly more than 4 inches.
Temperatures will be in the 30s with northwest winds up to 20 mph.
