A Water Mill man is facing felony charges for allegedly submitting absentee ballot applications for his dead mother.
The Suffolk DA says Wayne Tappe, 57, submitted two absentee ballots from Lucille Tappe, of Commack, in September and October.
The Board of Elections was notified that she died back in June.
