Runners get ready -- the Long Island Marathon will be back! The marathon is returning to its original spring date next weekend.

The races start Friday, April 29, and the big run is Sunday, May 1 at Eisenhower Park.

The weekend will also feature a food truck festival and live music.

"I look forward to seeing everybody next weekend. Nassau County is open. We're doing great, everybody's back to business, no masks - so we're going to have a great time at the marathon," said Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman.

Runners can register for the marathon and other races through April 26.
