A Medford man was arraigned Thursday for allegedly driving drunk in the wrong lanes on the Long Island Expressway.

Warren Levine, 62, has been charged with felony DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and reckless driving. He was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes for around two miles near exit 65 when he was pulled over by police.

Prosecutors say Levine has two prior DWI convictions - one from last month and another from 2008. He was on probation when he was taken into custody Wednesday night.

Authorities say Levine's girlfriend was a passenger in the car and told them she was relying on Levine to get her home safely.

Levine will be back in court next week. He is being held on $60,000 cash bail.
