WHAT'S NEW: We hit 83 degrees at Islip Airport Wednesday! It was not a new record, but quite impressive for this time of the year. The normal high is 57. Two more days of very warm weather before the weekend turns cooler with highs in the 60s.
WHAT'S NEXT: Some unsettled weather moves in for the weekend. It will be partly sunny Saturday with a few scattered showers. Most of Sunday now looks dry with showers holding off until Sunday night/ Monday.
