Threats were made to Wantagh Middle School earlier this week.

News 12 has learned a letter sent to parents Wednesday said the district was made aware of a concerning social media post by one of the students.

The superintendent of Wantagh Middle School says the administration team immediately contacted Nassau police, who followed up with the student's family.
