An Amazon delivery truck caught fire and spread to a Stop & Shop Friday afternoon in West Babylon.

Authorities say it happened around 1:40 p.m. inside a parking lot on Route 109.

The vehicle erupted in flames after experiencing a mechanical issue, according to Amazon officials.

West Babylon fire crews extinguished the blaze. It is unclear if anyone was hurt.
