A Wading River boy, who turned 1
years old Thursday, is looking for a heart transplant and is hospitalized.
Everett Cotter successfully had a temporary heart device implanted
this month.
His older sister,
Ruby, had the same condition. Doctors told Everett's parents that the chances
of another child needing a heart transplant is about 1%.
