Soup kitchen volunteers on Long Island spent this Thanksgiving helping others.

News 12 Long Island's Andrew Ehinger was in Westbury at the First Baptist Cathedral, which has been serving meals to those in need for the past two decades.

Volunteers also pacakged to-go meals for people who couldn't make it out of their homes.

They prepared more than 200 meals in total.
