Volunteers in Hempstead are working tirelessly to help feed the hungry and homeless for the holidays.
The Mary Brennan INN is collecting donations so they can make provide a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for those in need.
Director of the INN Jean Kelly says they have nearly tripled the amount of people they have served since the pandemic began.
Anyone who would like to donate, can go online to have things ordered and sent to the INN.  If you are need of food, organizers say you can go to the INN, register and they can give you whatever food or basics you need to make a holiday meal.
The INN will not be open on Thanksgiving or the day after because they say they are hoping all of their guests understand the need to take food home and stay safe.
