The pilot of a small plane escaped injury after a rough landing Sunday in Shirley. The vintage plane was forced to land on its belly at Brookhaven Calabro Airport after its landing gear collapsed.

The vintage plane was forced to land on its belly at Brookhaven Calabro Airport after its landing gear collapsed.
The pilot was the only person on board.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
