It's been two years since the Uniondale High School show choir has been able to perform together.
Director Lynnette Carr-Hicks has the young singers back together performing.
"Sometimes I feel like they're my own kids at times because they make me want to come to work every day," Carr-Hicks says.
She started the program in 2010. Carr-Hicks says some of the kids could end up on Broadway in the future.
The group placed in the top five in their previous competition and qualified for Nationals.
They are now headed to Missouri and hosting a benefit concert to help them get to the national stage.
