Police arrested two 14-year-old boys Tuesday they say slashed dozens of tires in Lindenhurst on Easter Sunday.
Police say the two teens used a 7-inch kitchen knife to hit cars belonging to 24 families, slashing multiple tires and cars at each location. According to police, some were just random acts. They say others, like a school principal?s tires, were targets of the two vandals.
One boy is facing five counts of juvenile delinquency, while the other is facing three. Police believe the charges will continue to mount.
